I reflexively whipped my head around. The Grand Duke, who had made this outrageous suggestion, was—surprisingly—wearing a shameless face.

'No, what is this…….'

I was so flustered I couldn't even speak.

If my ears weren't deceiving me, the Grand Duke had just declared he would share a room with me.

And alone, at that!

Sir Brandt, equally flustered, blinked repeatedly and asked.

"Are you in earnest, Your Highness?"

"Wouldn't that be safer and more efficient?"

Whether we were shocked or not, the Grand Duke, having already reached his own conclusion, strode over to the innkeeper and spoke.

"Do you happen to have a room with two beds?"
