The Wrong Choice
The next morning, as soon as Juhwan left the guest room, Liz took Dorothy and Oz and left the castle.
Thanks to the carriage provided by the Border Lord’s family, they quickly arrived at the streets below the fortress. A maid and guards had tried to accompany them, but Liz refused. The reason she had originally asked for a guide was because she did not think the Border Lord’s family would provide a carriage. If the coachman knew the way, that was enough.
Liz quietly stared out the window of the luxurious carriage.
Yeonhwa, without a saddle on her back, followed beside the carriage at a steady distance. Juhwan had always asked Yeonhwa to watch over Liz and Dorothy.
Seeing Yeonhwa made Juhwan’s face come to mind.Her gentle husband, who always worried about her.
‘If Juhwan finds out, he’ll definitely hate this.’
It scared her a little.…
