Just as Lily was tilting her head in confusion, Yulian’s voice came from behind her.
And he called her not by a nickname—but by her real name.
“Brother… no, Your Grace.”
Yulian spoke to Kanna.
“Rebecca said she was tired and told us to take a walk on our own. It seems she may need your assistance.”
Kanna caught on immediately and nodded.
“Understood. I’ll go attend to Lady Rebecca.”
Once Kanna disappeared, the Garden of Eternal Light belonged to only the two of them.
“May I… sit beside you?”
Yulian gestured to the empty seat next to Lily on the swinging bench.
Expecting a harsh scolding, Lily froze at the gentleness of his voice.
Standing among the brilliantly glowing lux flowers, Yulian looked almost unreal.
A soft breeze brushed his hair against his cheek.
Only then did Lily realize that the breathtaking sight before her was real.
