Synopsis
When she opened her eyes, she had become the female protagonist of a novel, Eloise Flodel. If things continued this way, she would soon be forced into a marriage as though she were being sold off, only to meet a miserable death because she could “see ghosts.”
“I can’t die like this!”
And so, she proposed a deal to the mad Duke of the North, Castian von Edgart.
But the man, wearing a dangerous smile, gave her an unexpected answer.
“Let’s do it. Marriage.”
“You will become the mistress of the Edgart household. I can’t think of a more natural or better arrangement.”
He held out his hand.
“As you proposed, I will protect you from your enemies and, ultimately, eliminate them. In exchange, you have just one duty.”
His red eyes fixed directly on Eloise.
“Calm my powers.”
“What exactly do you mean by that…?”
