The moment Gabriel saw Michael waiting for her, she threw herself into his arms.
At Gabriel's earnest insistence that he absolutely must come meet her today, Michael had come to Grace Palace, where the Empress's tea party was being held, and now he found himself holding his tearful sister and soothing her.
"Gabriel, what happened?"

Gabriel sniffled without answering. Michael let out a deep sigh.
Michael was one of the people who knew Gabriel best.
