If this was Julia's plan, she really landed a serious blow.

For a whole month after Anderson's exile, Julia had stayed shut away in Brighting Palace. In that time, there'd been no sign at all that she was scheming anything behind the scenes.

And yet today, the play had changed completely.

I thought she'd lost all her will to act once Anderson disappeared, but she's been quietly maneuvering the whole time.

While Diana was blaming herself, something warm and soft settled around her neck. A fur scarf Cassion had brought along.

The February night was still cold. Even with spring so close at hand.

Cassion brushed the snow off the balcony chair and had Diana sit down.
