"Diana!"

Cassion dropped to his knees in front of Diana. His face twisted.

"Your Highness, people are watching. Please, get up."

Gadrian placed a hand on Cassion's shoulder.

"Let go of me! I'm going to catch them. I will absolutely find whoever did this despicable thing!"

The furious roar bursting out of that small body swallowed up the entire engagement venue.

Dayson, approaching belatedly, flinched at the venom in that voice.

"Step aside, Cassion. Lady Diana needs to be moved."

Karman gave the order, but Cassion, consumed with rage, didn't hear him at all. His back trembled faintly as he gripped Diana's hand tightly.

"Father."

Everyone surrounding Diana turned their eyes toward Cassion.
