Side Story 4. Roxana’s Marriage (1)

Roxana suddenly announced her marriage plans only four months after Harriet and Cedric’s wedding.

It was completely unexpected. There had been no signs at all. Even Harriet, and Cedric as well, couldn’t hide their shock.

Harriet immediately rushed to the Pellon estate.

“You came as soon as you heard?”

“Of course I did! Is this… some kind of event or joke?”

Harriet asked in disbelief, and Roxana smirked slightly.

“Well, for various reasons, it does look like some kind of event.”

“You’re really getting married?”

“Yes. Unless something unexpected happens before then.”

Harriet’s mouth fell open.

“Who is it?!”

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t pretend you don’t know! Who is the man?!”

“He’s someone I studied abroad with in the Kingdom of Candia. He’s from Astoga.”
