It was just as the carriage carrying Adele and Tanya pulled away from the Oswald mansion.

"Lady Adele!"

At the booming voice, Adele looked out through the carriage window.

She saw a big, broad-shouldered man standing there, his wavy golden hair streaming in the wind. Jennifer.

Behind him were a few knights from the W.G's 1st Unit, familiar faces to Adele.

"Please, stop for a moment."

Adele stepped out of the carriage, and Jennifer and the knights rode up to meet her.

"Are you all right? No — how did someone as precious as you come by a wound like this?!"

Jennifer took one look at the wound on Adele's body and jumped like he'd been scalded.

"It's only a minor injury — it'll heal soon. But... how did you know to come here?"
