Seira was enjoying tea time in the parlor attached to her third-floor bedroom.

The afternoon sunlight, with spring drawing near, was languid, and the tea and desserts were more fragrant and sweet than usual.

She watched Christine, standing in the middle of the garden giving orders to the Imperial Guard, and smiled thinly.
