Side Story chapter 6 Warm spring sunlight streamed through the window. Yuan squinted against the bright light as he opened his eyes.

The moment he opened them, he checked Serret in his arms, and a gentle smile spread across his face. Yuan held Serret tightly and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

Serret buried her face in Yuan’s chest. She didn’t want to wake up just yet, still exhausted from being held all night by Yuan.

“Let’s sleep a bit more. We still have time.”
