Old Madam Brown finally held the welcome banquet for Alex she had so longed for, in the residence Olivia had left. At the ducal family’s party, held for the first time in several years, most of the nobles accepted the invitation. In the main hall, more lively than ever before, Old Madam Brown could not hide her excitement.

“It has been a long time since a party was held at the ducal residence. Old Madam, it has been a while.”

“I have only now found my rightful place. I hope it will be an enjoyable time.”

Old Madam Brown greeted the honored guests arriving one after another. Behind her, the other noble ladies gathered in small groups began to speak candidly.

“What a shame. To think there is no Young Count of the Russell family at the ducal family’s party.”
