Thankfully my mother-in-law swiftly caught him by the back of the collar and subdued him with practised ease.

I wasn't entirely sure why he had suddenly started cursing at Kael, but it seemed my father-in-law was also worried about my back.

"It's nothing serious. I simply overindulged terribly today — my belly is so full my back can barely take it. I ate far too much."
